That is the catchy slogan of this tiny cafe/grill located inside an Exxon station that still sells gasoline. Open for breakfast and lunch Monday - Saturday. A favorite of the locals to the point that you won't find any advertising or outside signage for T Rays. The Big T burger combo is a favorite as are the daily specials - especially the chicken & dumplings on Thursdays and the fried shrimp on Fridays. Also serves a delicious Southern breakfast with eggs cooked to order, grits and biscuits. Don't expect much in terms of furnishings, old tables and chairs from the 50s-60s and the cafe will only hold about 35-40 people, but the locals know to eat fast, clear their own plate and then go stand outside to catch up on the local town gossip. A must stop when you are visiting Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach, Florida.

While it is a fresh start for the Pestana family, Chef Roberto looked to his past while creating the menu and design for the new restaurant, drawing from a childhood steeped in Spanish and Portuguese influences. Those influences -- rustic pottery, richly embroidered tapestries and saffron-yellow walls -- are everywhere in the renovated house near downtown.

Fantastic Fudge is a family-owned and operated local business. The owner Steve Colwell, has been making candy since he was a high school freshman in his hometown of Petoskey, Michigan. After college, Steve moved to Fernandina Beach to open Fantastic Fudge with the encouragement and support of his parents. They had discovered the sleepy town of Fernandina Beach while camping at Fort Clinch State Park. After Steve chose the old and vacant Hardee Brothers hardware store on Centre Street as the perfect location for his fudge shop. Over the next 15 years, Steve grew the business from a one-man show to a regionally recognized candy lover's dream. In 2003 Sara, Steve's sister-in-law joined the team full-time as an addition candy maker and manager. Together, they make products fresh daily, using only the highest quality, all-natural ingredients.
